Our local sourcing, logistics, production and artisan team in Lahore has been very busy, and they are buzzing with excitement. Not only have they been working hard to fulfill our first wholesale orders that are hitting stores this April, but they have also been moving production from a smaller interim facility into our new, permanent factory/workshop. Here, once we are fully installed, we'll have an atelier where our designer partners and patternmakers can sketch, drape and create, a spacious cut and stitch area with our sewing machines for our production team, an area for our skilled artisan partnners to comfortably do Adda work and other hand embellishment, an outdoor courtyard for fabric dying in an environmentally- and worker-friendly process, and much more in store as we grow!

The interior - can you see the potential?? :)
Our guard chicken.
We have so many exciting plans to make this a center of ethical, sustainable and transparent design and production of our collections - where we can provide a safe, happy and healthy place for our designers, artisans, skilled garment workers and logistics support team to come together create something completely unique and beautiful in the world of fashion.
Our goal is to change the way clothes are made in emerging markets: putting the focus back on the spectacular local talent in design and craftmanship and away from the cheap, high volume, unoriginal fast fashion that the industry so often expects.
We can't wait to share more photos and videos of our progress across the summer and beyond!
